RRT Winchester ‘chills out’ at Naomi House & Jack’s Place
Naomi House & Jack’s Place is a hospice for children and young adults. Situated just north of Winchester in Hampshire, this unique facility also extends its services to surrounding areas such as Berkshire, Dorset, Surrey, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight.
The staff are dedicated to making it happy, homely and a welcoming place for the young people and their families alike, with a packed schedule of activities ensuring there is never a dull moment!
RRT has been privileged to work with this amazing charity on 2 previous occasions, so when this opportunity arose, they were delighted to accept. Saturday 4th June saw RRT provide a delicious BBQ meal for the young people, their families, and the Naomi House & Jack’s Place staff.
To top it all off, live music was provided by an RRT live band, and the sun shone, providing the ideal atmosphere for everyone to enjoy a relaxed Saturday lunch in surroundings where they could be totally at home.
As one member of staff commented, “Today was perfect.” Once again it was a real treat for the RRT volunteers to see the smiling faces, and interact with such inspiring young people. The team are thoroughly looking forward to the next event with Naomi House & Jack’s Place.
Awesome Job. Can we pls have some music recordings?
