PBCC Hereford held a Public Outreach Pie Day 6th June 2016
On Saturday 6th June, local members of the PBCC held a Public Outreach event at their Gospel Hall at Rotherwas, Hereford. This event was enthusiastically staged to reach out to members of the local community.
Leading up to the event an advert was placed in the Hereford Times, leaflets distributed and posters/banners put up in the area to ensure that as many as possible had the opportunity to attend.
On the day, 82 persons of all age groups were welcomed, each being offered a free BBQ lunch and bible pack.
The Hereford Mayor, Jim Kenyon, kindly dropped in and very much enjoyed meeting both the hosts and visitors. He commented ‘this is fantastic – what you are doing is a good thing, you are showing people kindness.’
