Colour Me Rad – Edinburgh 9th May 2015
Colour Me Rad (CMR) is a not for profit organisation which organises 5 kilometre races all over the world which are packed with fun and lots of colour!! In Scotland CMR has teamed up with Cash for Kids (CFK) to which all profits are given. CFK’s is a charity set up in the UK to support children aged 0-18 who are disabled, disadvantaged or suffering from abuse or neglect. In 2014 it generated £15.7 million.
The 9th May 2015 saw 5000 runners gather at the Royal Highland Showground in Edinburgh to join in on the CMR and support CFK’s and the RRT were contacted to offer our volunteers to help raise the needed funds in support of this great race. With the CFK’s partnering with CMR to hold a fun run it seemed a perfect fit for RRT to help out with supplying the 100 volunteers to assist in making the day a success. RRT took on the responsibility for several of the action stations and provided chilled water for race day.
“We just finished Edinburgh this last Saturday and felt it went great thanks to the awesome bunch of volunteers who came to help. The group we had from the Rapid Relief were exceptional. “ Quote from volunteer coordinator (CMR)
The comments are still flowing in following Saturday’s run – “run rad for fun” “I’ve never been so glad to sneeze rainbows for a week”

Thank you RRT for helping these dear children live a better life.
Not always easy to be “different” from everyone else, but thankfully there’s always Someone who can help us in our weakness !!!!!!
A BIG thank you to the “RRT Team” for helping these children live a better life !
What awesome fun! A great way to help raise funds for the needy. Wish I could have seen it!
