RRT helps out Somerset-based St Margaret’s Hospice

Somerset-based St Margaret’s Hospice provides compassionate, high quality and responsive care to patients, families and carers who are facing the challenge of a life-limiting illness.  The landscaped gardens of Quantock House provides patients and carers an opportunity to recuperate in peaceful surroundings.

Taunton’s Rapid Relief Team were approached by St Margaret’s Hospice to help in restoring some flowerbeds following the donation of some oak sleepers from a local business.  The team rallied together to help the hospice improve the facilities by constructing 3 new raised flowerbeds to replace the old weathered beds.  The effort of the RRT and the new flowerbeds now give people of all ages and abilities the chance to enjoy gardening and all the benefits to wellbeing that this pastime offers.

The corporate fundraisers and managers of St Margaret’s Hospice were amazed by the time and effort put in by the RRT to complete this project.  RRT were glad to be able to provide some assistance to the good work that St Margaret’s do, and wish them all the best for the future.
