Bluebell Wood Colour Dash 2015
Bluebell Wood is a Children’s Hospice which provides care and support to families who have a child or young person with a shortened life expectancy and is not expected to live into adulthood.
The 2nd May saw over 2700 runners gather at Rother Valley Country Park to participate in the annual Bluebell Wood Colour Dash and show their support for the Hospice.
It was a fun packed day and the RRT were on hand to provide assistance with all aspects of the event, including setting up the colour stations, assisting with car parking, registration, route marking, throwing colour and not least, the big tidy up!
Over 2500 bottles of water were also donated by the RRT keep the runners well hydrated!
Some early feedback included comments such as…
“Well organised, great help!”
“We’ll definitely look at using RRT again next year”
“We can’t say thank you enough”
“We had nearly an extra 1000 runners this year and you really made managing the increased numbers a lot easier”
“hope you will continue with your work and help those that need it most”
